Meet the Artist

Codey Potvin-Johnson is a photographer located on the island of Nantucket, Massachusetts USA. Growing up along the New England Coast, he has established a pension for moody landscapes, and a love for the ocean. On Nantucket, Codey began to transition away from digital photography and started to experiment with film. Using various acids and chemicals to discolor and destroy his rolls of film, he is able to create unique images that are completely one of kind. They can never be recreated again.

Working as a professional wedding photographer for nearly a decade and having his fine art prints purchased for numerous personal collections, Codey is always looking for the beauty in the world around him.

For Codey, inspiration is everywhere. Often where you least expect it.
